Fanthorp Inn - Anderson, TXThe Texas Brazos Trail is an eighteen-county area of Central Texas which roughly stretches from Waco to College Station to Georgetown.  This area of Texas is rich in the early history of the state. Explorers found the waters of the Brazos River to be the lifeblood of their quest, establishing numerous colonies that thrived and became the cities we now know. The railroad and cotton were of critical importance to the development of the region.  Some of the most beautiful architecture in the state is preserved in the old homes and historic downtown areas of these cities.

Visitors to the region can explore state parks, visit a Presidential Museum, sample some of Texas' best BBQ, visit wineries, enjoy one of the many local festivals and events, or find that perfect gift in downtown shopping districts.

Follow us on Twitter and get an insider's view on events, food, shopping, and more!

We encourage you to visit, explore, discover, and experience the Texas Brazos Trail Region.
